About Me

I have a variety of experience in the creative arts, and have been teaching children for over ten years. I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, where I studied vocal performance and psychology. A performer since age 4, I excelled in the opera program there, and have continued to sing in various capacities, including children’s opera, musical theatre, and solo concerts. I have shared my love of dance, music, and theater with people of all ages, and look forward to the opportunity to continue leading children in creative play.

I moved to Nashville after receiving my Master’s Degree in arts administration. I began working with a premier children’s program, Treehouse Adventures, as a creative play teacher and coordinator. This inspirational position urged me to move forward in my career as a creative teacher and caregiver. I look forward to encouraging natural wonder, and inspiring children to explore the world with open imagination.

I hope to increase the depth of my work by pursuing a career in mental health counseling, specializing in children,
adolescents, and their families. I would like to combine creative arts and play with guidance and counseling, encouraging
self-awareness, and creative problem solving. My journey through life, has shown me that having a great amount of
love to share and communicating well with children, are gifts, and talents that I should utilize. I am eager to learn more about children and their relationship with the world.
